Successful active operation in the field of trade and services is based on the performance of the employees of the VJ group companies, the quality of internal processes, trust and compliance with internal and external requirements. It includes not only compliance with all legal standards specified by the legislator, such as compliance with data protection or anti-monopoly law, but also direct prevention of conflicts of interest or ethically correct cooperation with business partners. In addition to transparency and trust, compliance with all established rules also aims to minimize potential damages due to non-compliance with legal standards (such as fines or reduced income), as well as intangible damages (such as damage to the image or reputation) of the group's companies.

You can find group's products at various retailers, supermarkets and shops. This entails a great responsibility, namely to ensure that not only own internal processes, but also production and logistics, take place under the right conditions, are handled by the right people and the right suppliers, in accordance with valid quality standards. Cooperation is possible only with suppliers and partners who comply with the supplier code of conduct, which describes the standards considered essential in partnerships with suppliers and throughout the supply chain, and which are based on the Amfori Business Social Compliance Initiative (BSCI).

Sustainable business occupies an important place in the business strategy. VJ's strategy is based on three pillars that cover the most important topics.

Ensure that the business journey, including all own operations and activities, is towards zero greenhouse gas emissions and water conservation.

To promote social cohesion, reduce inequality and protect communities and individuals through fair business conduct.

Adequate governance and environmental, social and governance policies must always reflect a commitment to sustainable growth.

From these three pillars comes the effort to make maximum use of our know-how to contribute to a better and more sustainable future for the next generations.

Energy efficiency and sustainability are top priorities. Reconstructing, renovating and transforming administrative, logistical and commercial premises in a sustainable and technologically advanced manner is beneficial both for the environment and for the well-being of the people who work for the group and its partners or are its customers. Therefore, in this area, VJ Group companies make maximum efforts, as well as support a work environment free of harassment and discrimination, where all employees and visitors can feel comfortable and contribute to the achievement of the company's business and social goals.

The effort to create lasting values and to be a trusted partner for both customers and communities, as well as for employees, is manifested even in the case of the company's maximum efforts for the highest possible level of digitization in order to reduce paper consumption and waste production.

VJ knows that the world urgently needs to reduce its ecological footprint by changing the ways in which it produces goods and resources and by changing our habits. It focuses on sustainable management and efficient use of natural resources, combating waste, reducing waste production through prevention and reuse, responsible waste management and pollution reduction. By actively working with suppliers to remove chemicals from the supply chain, reduce the amount of non-renewable materials in products, reduce packaging ratios and explore opportunities to reuse and recycle products, reduce the impact of manufacturing processes on the environment and the health of those who work and live in the places and around where the products are made, companies try to contribute to the effort to take care of our world in the right way. All products must at all times meet the requirements of the list of prohibited and restricted substances (RSL), so that they are never objectionable to consumers.
